Chocolate Squares

1. Mix sugar, cocoa, egg yolks and beat thoroughly. 2. Add in vanilla, flour and nuts. 3. Fold in beaten egg whites. 4. Bake in sheet pan at 325 degrees until done. 5. Next, let cool slowly to room temperature and cut into squares. |

Chocolate Brownies
| 1 cup |
- pure cane sugar |
1. Melt crisco and chocolate over hot water. 2. Beat eggs whole and add sugar while beating. 3. Add sifted flour and salt, and then stir into chocolate mixture. 4. Beat well, then add vanilla and nuts. 5. Pour into greased and floured pan. 6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in 325 degree oven. 7. Cut into squares while hot. 8. (Don't over bake). |
